OFFICIAL POST SEASON PREDICTIONS FOR 2013

MLB

MLB

My picks tend to suck. Hell, in 2006 EVERY SINGLE series I picked incorrectly.
Why do I keep doing it?

Not sure. Maybe so I can give myself credit for the correct ones and try to forget the bad ones.

As the playoffs start in earnest this afternoon (as the play in gameĀ for the play in game has been played) here are my official picks:

NATIONAL LEAGUE WILD CARD

Pittsburgh Pirates defeat Cincinnati Reds

AMERCIAN LEAGUE WILD CARD

Tampa Bay Rays defeat Cleveland Indians

NATIONAL LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES

St. Louis Cardinals defeat Pittsburgh Pirates, 3 games to 1

Los Angeles Dodgers defeat Atlanta Braves, 3 games to 1

AMERICAN LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES

Boston Red Sox defeat Tampa Bay Rays, 3 games to 2

Oakland Athletics defeat Detroit Tigers, 3 games to 2

NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

St. Louis Cardinals defeat Los Angeles Dodgers, 4 games to 0

Oakland Athletics defeat Boston Red Sox, 4 games to 3

WORLD SERIES

St. Louis Cardinals defeat Oakland Athletics, 4 games to 2

Clearly these are not what I WANT to have happen. I want the Red Sox to win it al, preferably against the Pirates or Dodgers. But I think this is the Cardinals year and the AL is a complete crap shoot between the A’s, Tigers and Red Sox. So I picked a team and went with the A’s.

We’ll find out how wrong I am soon enough. But here are the picks for all to see.
