We all thought it, especially after Xander’s homer. The Red Sox were going to answer the 10 game losing streak with a 10 game winning streak.
It would be the great come back and turn this into a great season. Alas, the Red Sox let old friend Justin Masterson off the hook too many times.
So they are 7-11 in their last 18 games. That looks better than being 0-10 in a stretch.
