I recorded today’s podcast during a game between the A’s and the Yankees in the O.co Coliseum. The end was recorded during a fireworks show.

Danny Duffy, Jesse Hahn, Andrew McCutchen, Eugenio Suarez, Mat Latos, Buster Posey and Evan Longoria all added to their totals for Who Owns Baseball

Wait… WHAT HAPPENED in the Giants game?

So the Giants were winning with 2 outs and nobody on the 9th. Romo let up a single… ok. No harm. Then Brandon Barnes got a hit to centerfield, Angel Pagan misplayed it… and everyone kept running.

A 2 out, 2 run, come from behind, inside the park home run… the hell? Wait WHAT?

Pagan had a chance to atone for his play with a runner on in the bottom of the 9th, but he hit into a game ending double play. Not his best day.

That plus the Red Sox loss have me grinding my teeth to the gums.

Time to update the Dodged Bullet/Teeth Grinder tally.

An explanation of what this is all about can be found HERE.

RED SOX DODGED BULLET – TEETH GRINDER Tally

The Red Sox wiggled out of trouble all day, but a sloppy 7th inning capped with a bases loaded walk put the Indians ahead for good, 3-2. TEETH GRINDER

You know it is a strange day of baseball when the best thing that happened all day was the lights going out in Oakland.

Another day, another way for the Giants to blow a late lead.
