The A’s were losing in the 9th, the Giants were losing and the Red Sox had already lost.
It seemed like a good time to stop following baseball, take my kids for a walk and talk to them about Star Wars.
And while I was discussing the Rebellion and trying to avoid talking about Clones and Yoda with a freaking Light Saber, the A’s went on a rampage.
A 6 spot was put up in the 9th with Cespedes tying the game, Moss untying it and Donaldson giving the insurance.
A rotten night of baseball was redeemed. Maybe I spend more time with my kids. It is helping the A’s reduce their magic number.
