All the A’s needed was some home cooking

OK, the trip to Detroit sucked for the A’s. Tough losses… close losses… the kind that bring back nightmares of the last 2 post seasons.

But alas, a trip back to the East Bay and all is well. Granted, there was a strange replay that didn’t go their way. And they had a strong R. A. Dickey performance to contend with. But in the end, Sonny Gray was great, Sean Doolittle put Rajai Davis behind him and the A’s remain the only team playing above .600.

With the Orioles and Red Sox washed out, if the A’s win today, they will knock the only Canadian team out of first place on the 4th of July.

TAKE THAT, KING GEORGE!

Time to update the Dodged Bullet/Teeth Grinder tally.

An explanation of what this is all about can be found HERE.
