If you have to change teams and make your first start for a team, I supposed starting in your old ballpark is a nice way to ease into a new situation.
Joe Kelly, one of the keys of the John Lackey deal, made his Red Sox debut in St. Louis and had an outing worthy of Lackey, Peavy or Lester for that matter. Hey look! Dustin Pedroia, David Ortiz, Mike Napoli, Daniel Nava, Xander Bogaerts, Will Middlebrooks, Junichi Tazawa and Koji Uehara all helped beat the Cardinals in St. Louis?
