Jake Peavy has gone from the Red Sox to the Giants and still has only one more win than me this year.
The Giants bats were dead again. I know that Wily Peralta is a good pitcher. But this was the Giants lineup with Pagan. Supposedly the one that can hit.
Instead they scratched 1 run and could only get one victory in the series. Two teams with playoff hopes and one team took total control? Not a good omen for the Giants.
Then again, as I type this, the Giants are barely hanging onto a Wild Card spot, just 1/2 a game ahead of Pittsburgh and 3 ahead of Atlanta.
Maybe they should get to the dance first before I think about potential match ups.
Time to update the Dodged Bullet/Teeth Grinder tally.
