Hopefully there will be a lot more Cespedes homers to come

I couldn’t deal with another extra inning game and neither could you. And yet when this one was scoreless late, we all thought “Oh boy… here we go again.”

But a nice 3 run homer in the 8th by Yoenis Cespedes, his first as a Red Sox made that all work out. Even if for the second straight day John Farrell left his starter in the game to surrender an 8th inning homer to Mike Trout, the Sox won this.

They wanted some right handed power. (Granted, that would not have been a homer at Fenway, but who is counting?)

Time to update the Dodged Bullet/Teeth Grinder tally.

An explanation of what this is all about can be found HERE.
