Bo Porter was fired as manager of the Astros. Now I am not sure if it was the right move for the team, but there is no way the team’s losing ways could have been a surprise to Bo or anyone else.

It makes sense that the Giants would win a game in May NOW. In May, they were on fire and couldn’t be stopped. They were running away with the NL West.
So they did a little time traveling today and won a game that was started in May and needed to be completed.
THEN they had to play a September game. Who knows what the team will be like in September? Today’s game gave little indication. They jumped out to a big lead, blew it, tied it in the 9th only to see the Rockies walk off with a win.
Because the Dodgers lost tonight, the Giants actually picked up 1/2 a game and they sit 2 games back with a month to play?
Will September be like May? If only they can go back in time to find out.
Meanwhile the Sox saw the Rays walk off and the A’s found their bats in a laugher.
