When I saw this shirt hanging in the Red Sox team shop while Sandoval was on the year long DL, I almost bought it.
I felt sorry for this shirt.
Nobody is buying this shirt unless they are going to burn it.
I hope they sent it to a nice charity.

The location of Yankee Stadium was not picked for its proximity to parking. Most people took public transportation to the game.
I would guess that most still do.
Clearly on this day, the need to park spilled over to the fields next door.
Now don’t quote me on this, but I BELIEVE these baseball diamonds where everyone is parking is actually the site of the NEW Yankee Stadium while the old park in the background is now a public park.
I could be wrong. I’ve been wrong before.
By 1998, Greg Maddux had already established himself as one of the great pitchers of all time.
Yeah I said it. You can take your Grover Cleveland Alexanders and your Don Drysdales and put them aside. Maddux was putting up eye popping numbers at the height of the steroid era.
I saw him pitch at my only trip to the Ted. I went to Turner Field in April of 1998 and saw Maddux and Curt Schilling lock antlers in an amazingly tight game.
Maddux did not get the win that day, but I knew I was watching greatness.
