When New Comiskey Park opened in 1991, it seemed a bit cold and a year later looked like a disaster when compared to Camden Yards.
BUT there was something that really struck me when I went to a game there in 1991: Their concourses were HUGE. The three days before, I saw games in the old parks of Milwaukee, Detroit and Wrigley. They were all so cramped and the lines were disastrous.
At New Comiskey, the concourses were wide and there were more concession stands which meant shorter lines.
Not ALL the ideas in New Comiskey Park were bad. They just should have made it a little warmer.
