Now part of one of the student union buildings at the University of Pittsburgh, Forbes Field’s home plate is preserved and protected. Bill Mazeroski jumped on this spot and there was bedlam in 1960. Now it is a little more quiet… at least it was in 1993 when my dad took this picture of me.
