Let’s see owned baseball on April 30, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Gerrit Cole held a red hot Twins team to 1 hit and no runs over 7, striking out 11 along the way as the Astros won an 11-0 laugher.

Zack Greinke pitched into the 8th, striking out 7 Yankees in 7 2/3 innings, allowing 1 run to earn the 3-1 decision for Arizona.

Franmil Reyes homered twice and doubled, driving in 3, to lead the Padres past Atlanta, 4-3.

Carlos Santana collected 3 hits, including a homer, driving in 2 to help the Indians win in Miami, 7-4.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Luis Castillo struck out 7 Mets in 6 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs. He did not factor into the decision as the Reds dropped the 4-3 game in extra innings.

Adam Eaton went 2 for 5 with a homer but the Nationals came up short against St. Louis, 3-2.

CC Sabathia recorded career strikeout number 3,000 in a game where he pitched into the 6th, giving up only 2 runs. He would be charged with the loss as Arizona topped the Yankees, 3-1.

Gleyber Torres singled, doubled and drove in the Yankees only run in their 3-1 loss in Arizona.
