Let’s see owned baseball on May 5, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Asdrubal Cabrera went 2 for 4 with a homer and 4 RBI to help the Rangers clobber the Blue Jays, 10-2.

Zach Davies pitched into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs while striking out 5 Mets in Milwaukee’s 3-2 victory.

Buster Posey doubled and homered to help the Giants come from behind against the Reds, 6-5.

Spencer Turnbill pitched 7 innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 7 Royals. The Tigers bullpen blew his lead but walked off 5-2 in the 9th.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Pablo Lopez held the Braves scoreless over 6 innings, striking out 6 Braves. The Marlins bullpen dropped the 3-1 game in extra innings.

Frankie Montas threw 6 strong innings, walking none and allowing a single run. The A’s dropped the 5-3 game in 13 innings.

Jonathan LuCroy homered twice in the Angels 10-4 loss to Houston.

Tim Peterson threw 2 1/3 shutout innings, allowing 1 hit and no walks out of the bullpen. He could not prevent the Brewers from topping the Mets, 3-2.
