Let’s see owned baseball on May 11, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Gerrit Cole struck out 12 Rangers and walked none over 6 innings to earn the 11-4 decision for Houston.

Michael Conforto reached base 3 times, including a homer, driving in a pair as the Mets topped Miami, 4-1.

C. J. Cron went 4 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBI in the Twins nightcap 8-3 victory over Detroit. He also homered in the 5-3 opening loss for Minnesota.

Zach Eflin threw a complete game 4 hit shutout, striking out 7 Royals for a 7-0 final for the Phillies.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Trevor Bauer scattered 2 hits and 3 walks, allowing 2 unearned runs in 7 innings and struck out 10 Oakland batters. He did not fare in the decision as the A’s walked off against the Indians, 3-2 in the 9th.

Walker Buehler threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 7 Nationals along the way. The Dodgers bullpen imploded allowing Washington to comeback for a 5-2 win.

Steven Duggar got 3 hits, including a 2 run triple, but the Giants were edged by Cincinnati, 5-4.

Randal Grichuk tripled and homered in the Blue Jays 7-2 loss to the White Sox.
