Let’s see owned baseball on June 5, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

David Bote doubled, homered and singled two times, driving in an eye popping 7 runs as the Cubs won a wild 9-8 game over the Rockies.

Randal Grichuk homered twice, scoring 3 runs, in the Blue Jays 11-7 comeback victory over the Yankees.

Chris Sale threw a complete game 3 hit masterpiece, striking out 12, walking none and throwing an immaculate inning along the way as the Red Sox blanked the Royals, 8-0.

Jason Vargas struck out 8 Giants in his 5 hits complete game shutout to earn the 7-0 decision for the Mets.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

David Dahl went 3 for 5 with a double and a triple, driving in 3, in the Rockies 9-8 loss to the Cubs.

Robbie Grossman doubled twice and singled twice, scoring twice and drove in a run but the A’s collapsed and allowed the Angels to walk off, 10-9.

Adrian Houser threw 3 innings out of the bullpen, with 1 hit, 1 walk and 1 unearned run, striking out 6 Marlins but the Brewers fell 8-3.

John Means allowed 1 run in 6 innings, striking out 5 Rangers but the Orioles dropped the 2-1 game in the 9th.
