The rise of Austin Riley and the signing of Dallas Keuchel have given the Braves a nice spark as they sit in first place alone. The Phillies need to make a trade to keep up.

Meanwhile the Twins can score at will, Justin Verlander dominates and the Red Sox won in the stupidest way possible: A Walk Off Walk.

Austin Riley collected 3 hits, including a game tying 9th inning homer, and scored the winning run in the 11th as Atlanta walked off against Pittsburgh, 8-7.

Daniel Vogelbach reached base 5 times, including a homer and 2 runs scored, in the Mariners wild 9-6 extra inning victory in Minnesota.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Zach Eflin threw 8 innings, allowing 2 runs while striking out 9. But the Phillies were blanked by Arizona, 2-0.

Trey Mancini homered and reached base 2 more times but the Orioles fell short against Toronto, 8-6.
