Let’s see owned baseball on June 27, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Joey Gallo homered twice to help the red hot Rangers top Detroit, 3-1.

Ariel Jurado threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 4 Tigers, to earn the 3-1 Texas victory.

Max Muncy went 3 for 4 with a pair of homers leading the Dodgers in another wild slug fest over Colorado, 12-8.

Aaron Nola allowed a single over 7 innings, walking 1 and striking out 10 Mets. He did not fare in the decision but helped set up the wild 6-3 Philadelphia walk off win.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Harold Castro went 3 for 4 but was stranded each time as the Tigers lost to the Rangers, 3-1.

Martín Pérez threw 7 strong innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 6 Rays. He was long gone from the game when Minnesota dropped the 18 inning marathon, 5-2.

Miguel Rojas collected 4 hits and stole a base, scoring 2 and driving in 2, but the Marlins fell to Washington, 8-5.

Zack Wheeler struck out 7 Phillies in 6 innings, allowing 1 run. The Mets bullpen had another epic 9th inning meltdown and gave up the lead and ultimately the 6-3 game.
