Mike Fiers pitched into the 8th, allowing 2 runs in 7 2/3 innings. He set up the A’s dramatic comeback and extra inning 4-3 win in Houston.

Didi Gregorius reached base 6 times, homered and drove in an eye popping 7 runs as the Yankees held on in extra innings to take a wild 14-12 game from Minnesota.

Miguel Sanó homered twice in the Twins wild 14-12 extra inning loss to the Yankees.

Chris Stratton threw 3 perfect innings out of the bullpen but the Pirates could not complete a comeback and fell short to St. Louis, 4-3.
