Let’s see owned baseball on August 13, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Madison Bumgarner struck out 9 Oakland batters in 7 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run as the Giants hung on for the 3-2 final.

Rafael Devers went 6 for 6, driving in 3 runs and scoring another in the Red Sox wild 10 inning 7-6 win in Cleveland.

Ivan Nova threw a complete game, 4 hit victory, allowing 1 unearned run while striking out 3 Astros to earn the 4-1 decision for the White Sox.

Will “Louisville” Smith homered twice and walked as the Dodgers clubbed the Marlins, 15-1.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

David Fletcher reached base 5 times, scoring 3 runs in the Angels sloppy 10-7 loss to Pittsburgh.

Yasmani Grandal homered and added another hit and a walk, driving in 3, but the Brewers bullpen collapsed again and dropped the 7-5 game to the Twins.

José Quintana struck out 14 Phillies in 6 innings allowing 1 earned run and 1 unearned run. The Cubs would be doubled up by Philadelphia, 4-2.

Glenn Sparkman held the Cardinals to 2 runs, 1 of which was unearned, over 6 solid innings, but the Royals were blanked, 2-0.
