Let’s see owned baseball on September 5, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Willson Contreras collected 4 hits, including a homer, to power the Cubs past fading Milwaukee, 10-5.

Max Fried allowed 1 hit and no runs over 7 innings, striking out 9 as the Braves doubled up the Nationals, 4-2.

Reynaldo López threw a complete game 1 hitter, striking out 11 Indians to earn the 7-1 decision for the White Sox.

Austin Meadows went  for 4 with a homer to help the Rays top the Blue Jays, 6-4.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

John Means pitched into the 7th, allowing 2 runs in 6 2/3 innings but the Orioles fell to Texas, 3-1.

Austin Nola homered twice, added another hit and drove in 5 runs but the Mariners blew a wild 11-9 extra inning game to Houston.

Bryan Reynolds hit a pair of homers in the Pirates 10-7 loss to the Marlins.

Stephen Strasburg struck out 7 Braves in 6 innings but took the hard luck 4-2 loss for Washington.
