Let’s see owned baseball on September 9, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Shane Bieber went 7 strong innings, striking out 8 Angels while allowing 1 run to earn the 6-2 decision for Cleveland.

Robinson Chirinos went 3 for 4 with 2 homers, driving in 6, as the Astros blanked the A’s, 15-0.

Jacob deGrom struck out 11 Diamondbacks in 7 innings, giving up 1 run, and finally got run support as the Mets took the 3-1 final.

Trent Grisham got 5 hits, including a double and triple, driving in 2 and scoring 2, as the Brewers stayed alive in the Wild Card race beating Miami 8-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Brandon Belt got 3 hits and drove in 2 in the Giants 6-4 defeat by the Pirates.

Jackie Bradley Jr. got on base 4 times but was stranded each time as the Red Sox were shutout by the Yankees, 5-0.

Madison Bumgarner went 7 strong innings, allowing 2 runs, but the Giants bullpen melted down and dropped the 6-4 game to Pittsburgh.

Eduardo Rodriguez held the Yankees to 1 run over 6 innings, striking out 9, but the Red Sox were blanked, 5-0.
