The Cardinals came from behind in a dramatic manner while the Dodgers took care of business methodically.
Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)
And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.
But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)
At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

2019 NL Division Series Game 1:
Receiving 1 WOO
Walker Buehler threw 6 innings of 1 hit shutout ball, striking out 8, as the Dodgers blanked the Nationals, 6-0.
Paul Goldschmidt doubled, homered and walked, scoring twice, to help the Cardinals come back against Atlanta, 7-6.
Miles Mikolas held the Braves to 1 run over 5 innings. He did not get the decision but help set up the Cardinals 7-6 victory.
Max Muncy reached base 3 times, driving in 3 including a back breaking 2 run single that led the Dodgers to a 6-0 win over Washington.
Receiving 1/2 WOO
Patrick Corbin struck out 9 Dodgers in 6 innings, allowing 1 earned run and 1 unearned run. But he took the hard luck 6-0 decision for Washington.
Freddie Freeman got a pair of hits, including a homer, in the Braves 7-6 loss to St. Louis.
Trea Turner smacked the Nationals only extra base hit in the 6-0 loss to Los Angeles.
