Earning Full WOBs:

Gerrit Cole pitched all 5 innings in his Yankee debut, allowing only a first inning homer and a walk to beat the Nationals, 4-1.

Kiké Hernández went 4 for 5 with a homer, 2 runs scored and 5 runs driven in to help the Dodgers pop the Giants, 8-1.

Adam Kolarek recorded 5 outs in hitless relief, striking out 2 San Francisco batters to earn the 8-1 decision for Los Anageles.

Giancarlo Stanton kicked off the scoring for the season with a 2 run first inning homer. He collected a second hit and powered the Yankees past the Champion Nationals, 4-1 in a rain shortened 6 inning game.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Adam Eaton hit a first inning homer that provided all the Washington offense in their 4-1 loss to the Yankees.

Max Scherzer struck out 11 Yankees in 5 1/3 innings but also allowed a few key hits including a 2 run homer as the Nationals fell, 4-1.
