Rafael Devers collected 10 total bases, including 2 homers, as Boston topped the Nationals, 9-5.

Justin Dunn allowed 1 hit and no runs over 6 innings. He did not get the decision but he helped set up the Mariners 2-1 win over the Angels.

Kyle Schwarber homered twice to help the Cubs clobber the Reds, 10-1.

Adam Wainwright celebrated his birthday with a complete game victory, striking out 9 Indians to give the Cardinals a 7-2 victory.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Griffin Canning went 8 strong innings allowing 1 run and 4 hits but the Angels bullpen dropped the 2-1 final to Seattle.

Didi Gregorius tripled in homered but the Phillies were out slugged by the Braves, 12-10.

Ryan Mountcastle homered twice and singled in the Orioles 6-5 loss to the Blue Jays,

Taylor Clarke strick out 7 Giants in 5 innings, allowing 1 hit and 1 run. The Diamondbacks would fall, 4-1.

Zach Eflin struck out 8 Braves in 7 innings to lead the Phillies to a 4-1 victory.

J. A. Happ pitched shutout ball into the 8th, finishing with 7 1/3 innings, 3 hits and struck out 5 Mets. He did not get the decision but helped the Yankees snap their losing streak with a 2-1 final.

Anthony Rizzo homered twice as the Cubs blanked Cincinnati 3-0 in the first game of a double header. He added a double in the nightcap 6-5 loss.

 Mike Trout reached base 4 times, driving in 6, including a 2 run homer, as the Angels pounded Seattle, 16-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Ronald Guzmán reached base 4 times, scoring 3 runs including a solo homer in the Rangers 7-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Pablo López threw 7 strong innings, allowing 2 runs and walking no Tampa Bay batters. But the Marlins were shutout, 4-0.

Lance Lynn allowed 3 earned runs in 6 innings, striking out 6 Dodgers along the way. His defense betrayed him as the Rangers were defeated, 7-4.

Trea Turner collected 5 hits but the Nationals came up short against the Red Sox, 5-3.

Corbin Burnes struck out 10 Pirates in 6 shutout innings as the Brewers took the 9-1 laugher.

Andrew Heaney pitched into the 8th innings striking out 10 Mariners in 7 2/3 innings to earn the 3-2 decision for the Angels.

Franmil Reyes got 3 hits, including a homer, driving in 5, to lead the surging Indians past St. Louis, 14-2.

Eugenio Suárez reached base 4 times, including a home run, to help the Reds top the Cubs, 6-5.
 

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Brandon Crawford with 2 for 4 with a home run but the Giants came up short against Arizona, 7-4.

Clint Frazier homered and got on base 2 more times but the Yankees fell to the Mets, 6-4.

Nick Margevicius held the Angels to 2 runs over 6 innings but took the hard luck 3-2 loss for Seattle.

Dustin May was solid for 6 innings, allowing 2 runs but did not fare in the decision as the Dodgers lost to Texas, 6-2.
