Earning Full WOBs:

Asdrúbal Cabrera homered twice, doubled twice and drove in 5 to help give the Nationals a much needed lopsided 16-4 win over the Mets.

Lance McCullers Jr. threw 7 innings of 1 hit shutout ball as the Astros snapped out of a losing streak to top San Francisco, 6-4.

Aaron Nola struck out 10 Braves in 8 strong innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run as the Phillies rolled to a “not as close as the final score would indicate” 13-8 laugher.

Mike Trout collected 4 hits, including 2 homers. His second home run was a dramatic tie breaking solo shot in the 8th that ended the A’s winning streak and made the Angels 10-9 winners.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Charlie Blackmon went 4 for 5 with 3 RBI and a run scored but the Rockies fell to Arizona, 12-8.

Matt Chapman homered twice and tripled, driving in 6. It was not enough as the A’s lost for the first time in 10 games, 10-9 to the Angels.

Dallas Keuchel was effective through 6 innings, but the White Sox bats were dead and dropped the 5-1 final in Detroit.

Dustin May allowed 2 runs over 6 innings, striking out a pair of Padres, but took the hard luck 2-1 loss for Los Angeles.
