Trevor Bauer out dueled his Cubs counterpart with 7 2/3 shutout innings, striking out 11 as the Reds took the 3-0 final.

Dane Dunning threw 6 shutout innings, striking out 4 Pirates to earn the 8-1 victory for the White Sox.

Adam Duvall collected 12 total bases with his 3 homers and reached base 5 times, driving in 9 runs and scoring 5 as the Braves offense unloaded on Miami, 29-9.

James McCann homered twice as the White Sox pounded the Pirates, 8-1.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Carlos Carrasco allowed 1 run in 7 innings, walking none. But he took the hard luck 3-0 decision as the Indians fell to Kansas City.

Jazz Chisholm homered and tripled but the Marlins were crushed by the Braves, 29-9.

Yu Darvish was solid with 6 innings of 2 hit ball, striking out 9. But the Cubs were blanked by the Reds, 3-0.

D. J. Stewart went 3 for 3 with a home run but the Orioles came up short against the Mets, 7-6.
