Carlos Carrasco struck out 11 Tigers in 7 innings of 1 hit shutout ball to earn the 7-4 decision for the Indians.

Michael Chavis homered twice and walked to help the Red Sox stop the Yankees winning streak with a 10-2 blow out.

Daniel Vogelbach smacked a pair of homers to help the Brewers top Kansas City, 5-3.

Kyle Wright pitched scoreless ball into the 7th, finishing with 6 1/3 innings, 1 hit, no runs and 6 strikeouts as the Braves blanked the Mets, 7-1.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Alec Bohm reached base 3 times, scored a run and drove in another but the Blue Jays doubled up the Phillies, 6-3.

Dylan Moore homered and doubled but the Mariners lost to the Padres, 7-4.

Joe Musgrove held the Cardinals without a run over 6 innings, striking out 11 along the way. He did not fare in the decision as the Pirates dropped the 2-1 final.

Ryan Yarbrough fanned 8 Orioles in 7 innings, allowing just 2 runs. But he took the hard luck 2-1 loss or the Rays.

IT IS A YEAR FOR CHICAGO NO HITTERS

Lucas Giolito of the White Sox threw the first no hitter of this strange 2020 season. Now Alec Mills threw the first Cubs no hitter since Jake Arrieta did the trick in 2016. The 12-0 blow out of Milwaukee did not have much drama in terms of the final score, but the tension was high for the hit column to stay at zero. It was not perfect, but the job was done.
