The Padres. A’s and Marlins have all called it a season. All had thrilling memories of 2020, but came up short. The Astros made it to the ALCS. The NLCS is set while the Rays and Yankees have a Do or Die match up.
Who owned October on October 8?
Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)
And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.
But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)
At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

GAME 3 of the NL DIVISION SERIES and GAME 4 of the AL DIVISION SERIES
Receiving 1 WOO
Michael Brantley hit a pair of homers, driving in 3, to lead the Astros past Oakland, 11-6.
Chad Green threw 2 innings of no hit shutout ball to earn the 5-1 decision for the Yankees over Tampa Bay.
Cristian Javier shut down the A’s bats with 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief, earning the 11-6 decision for Houston.
Will Smith collected 5 hits, including 2 doubles, driving in 3, to power the Dodgers past the Padres, 12-3.
Dansby Swanson singled, tripled and walked, driving in 2, as the Braves clinched the series over Miami, 7-0.
Gleyber Torres went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 RBI to lead the Yankees past the Rays, 5-1.
Julio Urías allowed 1 hit and 1 unearned run over 5 innings, striking out 6 Padres, to pick up the 12-3 decision for the Dodgers.
Kyle Wright continued the dominant Braves pitching with 6 innings of scoreless ball, striking out 7 Marlins to earn the 7-0 win.
Receiving 1/2 WOO
Yandy Díaz walked and singled but could not be driven home as the Rays fell to the Yankees, 5-1.
Corey Dickerson got three hits but the Marlins were blanked by the Braves, 7-0.
Ramón Laureano did his share to keep the A’s alive, launching a pair of homers and driving in 4. The Astros bombed the pitching and won, 11-6.
T. J. McFarland threw a shutout inning, a hard feat for the Oakland staff, as they were eleminated after a, 11-6 bombing by the Astros.
Emilio Pagán gave the Padres one of their few scoreless innings in their eliminating 12-3 loss to the Dodgers.
Ryne Stanek did not allow a hit, walk or run in his one inning of relief but the Marlins were shutout by the Braves, 7-0.
Fernando Tatís Jr. reached base twice but the Padres were no match for the Dodgers in the 12-3 elimination game 3.
Ryan Yarbrough threw 5 strong innings out of the bullpen, allowing 2 runs along the way, but the Rays bats were dead in their 5-1 loss to the Yankees.
