WHO OWNED OCTOBER (#WOO) – TALLIES UPDATED FOR AL DIVISION SERIES GAME 5, October 9, 2020

Who owned October on October 9?

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From October 9, 2020 –

GAME 5 of the AL DIVISION SERIES

Receiving 1 WOO

Michael Brosseau came off the bench to get 2 hits including a go ahead 8th inning home run to give the Rays a 2-1 lead over the Yankees that they would hold on to for the clinching.

Diego Castillo finished the Division Series with 2 no hit, no run innings, striking out 4 Yankees to earn the 2-1 Tampa Bay victory.

Receiving 1/2 WOO

Gerrit Cole allowed 1 hit, a solo homer and struck out 9 Rays in 5 1/3 innings but the Yankees fell 2-1.
