Madison Bumgarner threw a 7 inning complete game no hitter as the Diamondbacks blanked Atlanta 7-0 to complete a double header sweep.

John Means pitched into the 7th, striking out 6, allowing 2 hits and 1 run as the Orioles stopped the A’s winning streak with an 8-1 thrashing.

Tyler O’Neill homered twice in the Cardinals 5-2 win against the Reds.

Franmil Reyes collected 8 total bases including a 3 run home run to help the Indians avoid a sweep by the Yankees with a 7-3 final.

Jake Arrieta threw 6 strong innings, holding Milwaukee to one run, but the Cubs bullpen fell apart in the 6-0 shutout.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa went 3 for 5 with an run scored and a stolen base but the Rangers were doubled up by the White Sox, 8-4.

Lance McCullers Jr. went 6 strong, giving up just 3 hits and 2 runs and 1 walk. The Angels came back against Houston’s bullpen, 4-2.

Chris Taylor reached base 3 times, including a home run, driving in 3, but the Dodgers dropped the wild 8-7 extra inning slugfest to San Diego.

Alex Bregman got on base 3 times, homered and powered the Astros past the Angels, 16-2.

Kent Emanuel had a dazzling big league debut, coming in with one out in the first and going the rest of the way with 8 2/3 innings, allowing 2 runs and earning the 16-2 victory for Houston over the Angels.

John Gant allowed 3 hits and no runs over 6 innings as the Cardinals blanked the Reds, 2-0.

Rhys Hoskins reached base 3 times, homering twice, as the Phillies topped Colorado, 7-5.

EARNING ½ WOB

Matthew Boyd allowed 1 earned run and 1 unearned run over 8 innings but took the hard luck 2-1 loss for the Tigers against Kansas City.

Willie Calhoun got a pair of hits including a game tying 9th inning home run. The Rangers would go on to lose to the White Sox, 2-1.

Kevin Gausman struck out 11 Marlins in 8 innings, allowing 1 run. The Giants bullpen blew the games, 5-2.

Fernando Tatís Jr. homered twice but the Dodgers came back to top San Diego, 5-4.
