Joey Gallo homered twice in the back and forth 9-8 Rangers win over the Mariners.

Kevin Gausman threw 6 strong innings, allowing 1 run, as the Giants rolled over the Padres, 7-1.

Paul Goldschmidt got 3 hits including a game tying RBI single and a go ahead home run as the Cardinals topped Colorado, 9-8.

Josh Donaldson reached base 3 times, homered and drove in 3 but the Twins lost again, 7-3, to Detroit.

Tyler Glasnow struck out 11 Oakland batters in 5 2/3 innings, surrendering only 2 hits. But the A’s bats were tough and doubled up the score against the Rays bullpen, 6-3.

Max Scherzer pitched into the 8^th, dominating the Yankees on one run, 2 hits while striking out 14. The Nationals bullpen blew two leads in the 4-3 extra inning loss.

Jean Segura collected 3 hits, including a home run, but the Phillies bullpen was a disaster in the 8-7 extra inning loss to Atlanta.
