Earning Full WOBs on May 27, 2021

Willy Adames helped out his new Milwaukee teammates with a 4 for 5 performance, homering and driving in 4 to beat San Diego, 6-5.

Chris Bassitt went the distance, throwing his first career complete game shutout, striking out 9 and allowing only 2 hits as the A's blanked the Angels 5-0 in a game I attended.

Sonny Gray threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and walked 1 Washington batter as the Reds went on to take the 3-0 final.

Austin Meadows tripled and homered, driving in 4, to help the Rays get back to their winning ways in a 7-2 victory over the Royals.

Bo Bichette homered in the Blue Jays 5-3 loss to the Yankees in the second game of a double header. He also homered in the 2-0 opening game victory.

German Marquez needed just 62 pitches to hold the Mets to 3 hits, 1 walk and 1 run while striking out 6 over 6 innings. But the Rockies were shutout, 1-0.

Patrick Sandoval held the A's scoreless over 5 innings, striking out 4. But the Angels bullpen and defense allowed 5 in the 6th which was all Oakland needed to win, 5-0.

Fernando Tatís Jr. reached base 4 times, scoring 2 and driving in 2 but San Diego came up short against Milwaukee, 6-5.
