Jose Abreu went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI in the 7-4 White Sox win in the first game of a double header with the Orioles. In the second game, he added a 2 run home run as the White Sox swept the day with a 3-1 final.

Alex Cobb struck out 8 over 7 innings as the Angels blanked the A's, 4-0.

James McCann collected 4 hits, including a home run, to help the Mets pound the Braves, 13-2.

Freddy Peralta struck out 7 Nationals in 7 innings, earning the 4-1 win for Milwaukee.

Carlos Correa reached base 4 times, including a home run, driving in 3, in the wild 11-8 Houston extra inning defeat by San Diego.

Mike Foltynewicz allowed 2 runs over 7 strong innings, holding the Mariners to 2 runs, but took the hard luck 3-2 decision for the Rangers.

Max Muncy homered and doubled but the Dodgers were pounded by San Francisco, 11-6.

Zack Wheeler struck out 14 Rays in 7 innings but the Phillies bullpen dropped the 5-3 final.
