Nelson Cruz reached base 3 times, driving in 4, including a dramatic walk off 2 run home run to give the Twins a stunning 7-5 win over the Yankees.

Starling Marte went 4 for 5 with a home run to help the Marlins blast the Rockies, 11-4.

Mike Minor struck out 8 Oakland batters in 7 innings to earn the 6-1 decision for Kansas City.

Zack Wheeler threw 8 innings of 4 hit shutout ball, striking out 12 Braves along the way. He did not get the decision but he helped set up the Phillies 4-3 victory.

Ian Anderson threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits while striking out 4 Phillies but the Braves bullpen dropped the 4-3 final.

Freddie Freeman collected a pair of hits including a game tying home run in the Braves 4-3 loss to the Phillies.

Mitch Haniger homered twice but the Mariners dropped the 8-3 game to Detroit.

Frankie Montas pitched into the 7th, finishing with 8 Kansas City strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings but took the hard luck 6-1 Oakland decision.
