Jose Altuve continued his great run with a lead off home run, added another round tripper and a walk as the Astros doubled up Texas, 8-4.

Gerrit Cole threw 8 strong innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs to earn the 3-2 victory for the Yankees over the Blue Jays.

Tyler Mahle struck out 12 Brewers in 6 innings, allowing 1 run to help the red hot Reds beat the Brewers, 2-1.

Buster Posey got on base 4 times including a go ahead 3 run home run to help the surging Giants pound Arizona, 13-7.

Sandy Alcantara dominated the Cardinals into the 9th but allowed a walk off hit as the Marlins were blanked 1-0.

Ryan Mountcastle went 3 for 5 with a homer and 4 RBI in the Orioles 8-7 loss in Cleveland.

Ross Stripling took a lead into the 7th, striking out 9 Yankees along the way. But he let up the go ahead home run and took the hard luck 3-2 decision for the Blue Jays.

Dansby Swanson got 2 hits including a game tying 3 run home run, but the Braves fell short against the Red Sox, 10-8.
