Every team in position for a playoff spot in September gets 4 points for each day. Each team that is within 1 game of a playoff spot will get 1 point.
The Rays, White Sox, Astros, Yankees and Red Sox all added to the Summer Score from the AL.
The Braves, Brewers, Giants, Dodgers and Padres added from the NL. The Reds add 1 because they are within 1 of a Wild Card.
