The Summer Score – Updated for October 1, 2021

HYOSUB SHIN / AJC

It is October… the Summer is behind us. And the 2021 National League Summer Scores are set. The American League? That will be more fluid.

Every team in position for a playoff spot in September gets 4 points for each day. Each team that is within 1 game of a playoff spot will get 1 point.

The Rays, White Sox, Astros, Yankees, Mariners and Red Sox all added to the Summer Score from the AL. The Blue Jays get a point for being 1 game back.

The Braves, Brewers, Giants, Dodgers and Cardinals added from the NL.
