Jose Altuve found his bat and the World Series is even.
So Who Owned the World Series and October on October 27, 2021?
Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)
And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.
But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)
At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.
A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.
From October 27, 2021 –
World Series Game 2
Receiving 1 WOWS and WOO
Jose Altuve homered and doubled, scoring 2 runs, as the Astros topped the Braves, 7-2.
Jose Urquidy threw 5 strong innings, striking out 7 while walking no Atlanta batter to earn the 7-2 victory for the Astros.
Receiving 1/2 WOWS and WOO
Travis d’Arnaud homered and singled in the Braves 7-2 defeat by Houston.
Max Fried was hit hard early, but by pitching into the 6th, the bullpen got a critical off day during the Braves 7-2 loss to Houston.
