Who Owned the World Series (#WOWS) and Who Owned October (#WOO) Tallies Updated for World Series Game 6, November 2, 2021

USA Today Sports

Well, baseball is over for another winter… the Braves earned their title.

So Who Owned the World Series and October on November 2, 2021?

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From November 2, 2021 –

World Series Game 6

Receiving 1 WOWS and WOO

Max Fried threw 6 shutout innings, allowing only 4 hits and fanning 6 as the Braves blanked the Astros, 7-0, to clinch the World Series.

Jorge Soler launched a 3 run home run to put the Astros on their heels and seal his World Series MVP in the 7-0 Atlaanta victory.

Receiving 1/2 WOWS and WOO

Michael Brantley got a pair of hits but was never driven in as the Astros lost Game 6 of the World Series, 7-0.

Brooks Raley stopped the scoring in the third inning but by then the damage was done and the Astros topped the Braves, 7-0.
