Alejandro Kirk homered twice and singled to help the Blue Jays edge the White Sox, 6-5.

Martin Perez threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits, as the Rangers blanked the Rays, 3-0.

Adam Wainwright struck out 10 Padres in 7 innings of 2 hit shutout ball. He did not get the decision but he set up the Cardinals 3-2 walk off victory.

Christian Walker reached base 4 times, including a home run and 3 RBI, as the Diamondbacks topped Atlanta, 8-7.

Matt Olson singled, homered and hit two doubles in the Braves 8-7 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Blake Snell threw 6 strong innings, allowing 2 hits and 2 runs, striking out 6 Cardinals. The Padres would drop the 3-2 final.

Andrew Vaughn went 4 for 5 with a homer but the White Sox fell short against Toronto, 6-5.

Michael Wacha pitched into the 6th without allowing an earned run over 5 2/3 innings, striking out 3 Reds along the way. He took the hard luck 2-1 loss for Boston because of an unearned run.
