MacKenzie Gore struck out 10 Brewers in 6 shutout innings to earn the 4-0 decision for San Diego.

Salvador Perez doubled and homered as the Royals blanked the Astros, 6-0.

Luis Severino was the latest Yankee pitcher to dominate, fanning 10 Tigers over 7 innings of 1 hit shutout ball in the 3-0 victory.

Zach Davies was brilliant throwing scoreless ball into the 8th, fanning 6 Pirates in 7 2/3 innings. The Diamondbacks bullpen imploded and lost the 2-1 game in the 9th.

Brandon Drury reached base 3 times, homering and scored 3 but the Reds dropped the 10-8 slugfest to Washington.

Andres Gimenez got a pair of hits, including a home run, but Cleveland was edged by Baltimore, 5-4.
