On September 18, 2013, I talked about how the Podcasting Streak almost came to an end.
Then I talked about potentially historic World Series match ups for 2013.
It turned out to be Red Sox and Cardinals.

With the pennant chases taking shape, it is interesting to see the potential World Series match ups in terms of a historical perspective.
For example, the Braves and A’s once met in the World Series. But it was two cities ago for each team.
And the A’s and Pirates could meet for the first time despite many near misses.
