Who Owned October (#WOO) Tallies Updated for NLCS Game 6 – October 23, 2021

Hyosub Shin / Hyosub.Shin@ajc.com

The champs are dethroned and the Braves were worthy opponent.

So Who Owned October on October 23, 2021?

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO(Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From October 23, 2021 –

NLCS GAME 6

Receiving 1 WOO

Tyler Matzek worked out of a nasty jam by retiring all 6 Dodger batters he faced, including 4 by strikeout, to preserve the 4-2 clincher for the Braves.

Eddie Rosario capped off his NLCS MVP performance with a pair of hits including a 2 out 3 run go ahead home run that sealed the pennant for Atlanta over Los Angeles, 4-2.

Receiving 1/2 WOO

Brusdar Graterol did not allow a run, hit nor walk in 1 2/3 innings of relief in the Dodgers 4-2 loss to the Braves.

A. J. Pollock doubled twice, driving in a run, but the Dodgers came up short against the Braves, 4-2.
