Randy Dobnak held the Pirates scoreless in his 6 innings as the red hot Twins won 5-2.

Adrian Houser blanked the White Sox over 7 innings, striking out 5 to earn the 1-0 victory for Milwaukee.

Matt Olson launched a pair of homers to help the A’s top the Rangers, 6-4.

Joc Pederson homered twice and walked to help the Dodgers edge the Padres, 7-6.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Josh Bell went 3 for 4 with a homer in the Pirates 5-2 defeat by Minnesota.

Dallas Keuchel threw 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run and struck out 8 Brewers but the White Sox were blanked, 1-0.

Aaron Nola struck out 12 Yankees in 6 innings, walking none, but did not fare in the decision as the Phillies lost, 3-1.

Mike Trout homered twice in the Angels 7-6 loss in Seattle.

Earning Full WOBs:

Jon Gray threw 8 shutout innings, allowing 5 hits and striking out 7 as the Rockies blanked the Marlins, 3-0.

James McCann got 3 hits including a grand slam that broke open a close game and gave the White Sox a 7-2 victory over the Angels.

Mike Montgomery allowed a single unearned run over 6 innings to earn the 4-1 decision for Kansas City over the Mets.

Mike Yastrzemski belted 3 homers, driving in 4, as the Giants won a wild 10-9 homer fest in Arizona.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Nick Ahmed reached base 4 times, homering and driving in a pair in the bizarre and for Diamondbacks fans frustrating 10-9 extra inning loss to the Giants.

Adrian Houser held the Nationals to 2 hits, 2 walks and 1 run over 7 innings but the Brewers could not rally and dropped the 2-1 final.

Charlie Morton allowed 3 hits and 1 unearned run in 7 innings of solid ball. But the Rays were shutout by the Tigers, 2-0.

José Ramírez homered again and added 2 more hits but the Indians fell short against the Yankees, 3-2.

David Bote doubled, homered and singled two times, driving in an eye popping 7 runs as the Cubs won a wild 9-8 game over the Rockies.

Randal Grichuk homered twice, scoring 3 runs, in the Blue Jays 11-7 comeback victory over the Yankees.

Chris Sale threw a complete game 3 hit masterpiece, striking out 12, walking none and throwing an immaculate inning along the way as the Red Sox blanked the Royals, 8-0.

Jason Vargas struck out 8 Giants in his 5 hits complete game shutout to earn the 7-0 decision for the Mets.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

David Dahl went 3 for 5 with a double and a triple, driving in 3, in the Rockies 9-8 loss to the Cubs.

Robbie Grossman doubled twice and singled twice, scoring twice and drove in a run but the A’s collapsed and allowed the Angels to walk off, 10-9.

Adrian Houser threw 3 innings out of the bullpen, with 1 hit, 1 walk and 1 unearned run, striking out 6 Marlins but the Brewers fell 8-3.

John Means allowed 1 run in 6 innings, striking out 5 Rangers but the Orioles dropped the 2-1 game in the 9th.
