Kyle Muller kept the Mets scoreless in 5 innings as the Braves took the first game of the double header, 2-0.

Shohei Ohtani threw 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run, walking none, singled and scored a run to give the the 6-2 decision for the Angels over Colorado.

Jorge Soler homered twice in the Royals 4-3 win against the White Sox.

Luis Arraez collected 4 hits, driving in 3, helping the Twins stay on top of the division with a 7-3 victory over the Reds.

Ke’Bryan Hayes went 5 for 5, scoring 3 times, to help the Pirates shutout Cleveland, 8-0.

Tanner Houck struck out 10 Braves in 6 innings, allowing 1 run, earning the 8-2 decision for the Red Sox.

Brandon Woodruff threw 8 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10 as the Brewers blanked St. Louis, 3-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Johnny Cueto gave the Giants 6 1/3 solid innings, allowing 3 runs but he was saddled with the 6-2 loss against San Diego.

Robbie Grossman hit a pair of homers and added another hit but the A’s were hammered by the Mariners, 12-3 in the double header nightcap.
