Bobby Dalbec went 3 for 3 with a home run to push the Red Sox into first place with a 7-1 win over Kansas City.

Rhys Hoskins drove in 6 runs with 3 hits, 2 of them home runs, to help the Phillies take a 13-6 slugfest in San Francisco.

Justin Lawrence pitched a pair of key shutout innings for the Rockies and was in line to get the victory. But Milwaukee got to the rest of Colorado’s bullpen to edge by, 6-5.

Framber Valdez threw 7 strong innings, holding the White Sox to 2 earned runs and 1 unearned run and got the 7-3 decision for Houston.
