Mitch Haniger hit a 2 out go ahead grand slam in the 8th inning after walking and getting a hit earlier in the game to propel the Mariners to a 7-3 victory over the Angels.

Triston McKenzie threw 7 innings of 1 hit shutout ball, striking out 9 Royals. Cleveland’s bullpen blew the lead but would walk off 2-1 winners.

Wade Miley threw 8 scoreless frames, scattering 7 hits as the Reds blanked the Brewers, 2-0.

Jonathan Villar homered twice as the Mets pummeled the Pirates, 13-4.

David Fletcher got 3 hits, including a home run, but the Angels dropped the 7-3 final in Seattle.

Brad Keller went the distance, tossing a 5 hit, 1 walk shutout, striking out a pair as the Royals blanked the Pirates, 11-0.

Alec Mills threw the first Cubs no hitter since 2016, striking out 5 Brewers in the 12-0 blow out.

Pete Alonso reached base 4 times, homered and drove in 3 as the Mets took the 11-6 slugfest from Washington.

Tim Anderson got 4 hits, including a homer, and scored 3 times to help the White Sox come from behind and top Detroit, 7-5.

Kyle Hendricks threw 6 strong innings, allowing 1 run and walking no Cleveland batters to earn the 7-2 decision for the Cubs.

Brad Keller did not allow a run over 6 innings, striking out 3 Reds. The Royals would hang on to win, 5-4.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Bo Bichette reached base an eye popping 6 times, including a home run, scoring 3, but the Blue Jays fell short to Miami in a wild extra inning 14-11 game in Buffalo.

Zach Davies threw 7 strong innings, allowing only 2 runs. But he took the hard luck decision as the Dodgers blanked the Padres, 6-0.

Juan Soto hit two massive home runs and added another hit but it was not enough as the Nationals dropped the 11-6 final to the Mets.

Taijuan Walker dominated the Rangers over 6 innings, allowing a single unearned run along the way. The Mariners bullpen collapsed for the 7-4 loss.
