WHO OWNED THE WORLD SERIES (#WOWS) and WHO OWNED OCTOBER (#WOO) – TALLIES UPDATED FOR WORLD SERIES GAME 2, October 21, 2020

Sue Ogrocki – AP

And with that win, the Rays have made sure that now, we have a Series!

Who owned October on October 21

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO (Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

But the World Series deserves its own stats. WOWS (Who Owns the World Series.)

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter. The WOWS total will be kept separately. Each game now counts towards both tallies.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From October 21, 2020 –

GAME 2 of the World Series

Cody Bellinger hit 2 homers to power the Dodgers past the Angels, 7-4.

Teoscar Hernández homered twice and added another hit, driving in 4, as the Blue Jays clobbered the Rays, 12-4.

Clayton Kershaw held the Giants to 1 hit and 1 run over 7 innings to earn the 7-4 decision for the Dodgers.

Lance Lynn threw a complete game 2 hitter in Coors Field of all places, striking out 6 Rockies for the 3-2 Rangers victory.

Wilmer Flores collected 4 hits, scoring a run, but the Giants blew a big lead and lost 8-7 to the A’s in 10.

Brady Lail threw 3 innings of shutout ball out of the bullpen, holding the Astros to 1 walk and no hits. It was too little and too lates as the Mariners were blown out, 11–1.

Brandon Lowe knocked in 3 with a homer and added another hit but the rest of the Rays bats were dead in the 12-4 clobbering by the Blue Jays.
