Nestor Cortes allowed 1 run and 3 hits over 8 innings to earn the 5-1 decision for the Yankees over the White Sox.

Adolis Garcia homered twice, driving in 5, as the Rangers topped the Red Sox, 7-1.

Paul Goldschmidt went 3 for 4 with a homer, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored to help the Cardinals bomb the Giant, 15-6.

Jose Quintana kept pace with Greene by throwing 7 shutout innings, fanning 5 Reds. He did not get the decision but set up the Pirates 1-0 shutout.

Rafael Devers went 3 for 4 and drove in the Red Sox only run in their 7-1 defeat in Texas.

Hunter Greene did not allow a run over 7 1/3 inning, striking out 9 Pirates along the way. But he received a brutally unfair loss as the Reds were blanked, 1-0.

Brandon Nimmo collected a pair of hits, driving in 3, but the Mets came up short to Seattle, 8-7.

Frankie Montas struck out 12 Angels in 6 innings but the A’s offense let him down in the 4-1 final.

Steven Brault went the distance, striking out 8 Cardinals in his complete game 5-1 victory for Pittsburgh.

Brandon Nimmo got 3 hits including a game tying triple and a go ahead home run as the Mets took a dramatic 10-6 game from Philadelphia.

José Ramírez went 4 for 5 with 2 homers and 4 RBI as the Indians clubbed the Angels, 10-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. collected 11 total bases, including 2 home runs, in the Blue Jays 10-7 loss to the Yankees.

Bryce Harper reached base 4 times, clubbing a pair of home runs but the Phillies bullpen collapsed in the 10-6 final against the Mets.
